Española Island

This one is for you my dear reader.

Today as we were greeted by a colony of sea lions and Española marine iguanas, our guests disembarked for a new adventure on an island full of surprises, even before we even touched ground. Continuing on, we took our trail through a Nazca booby colony straight to an outstanding cliff, where Española would show its geological features, a majestic blow-hole: what an impressive sound and thanks to our Ecuadorian sun, the pictures were full of color and light. All of us were back aboard to share our new experiences, while lunching and navigating to a new destination, Gardner Bay.

And right here is where this picture was taken, as my title implies, this one is for you, my dear reader, I will explain why. Today one of our guests mentioned how happy she was to be here, and that she had been reading our web pages full of information about the actual sites and what was really going on, as opposed to brochures: not retouched pictures, but reality itself. It immediately touched me, these web pages mean much more than I ever expected and that remark has changed the way I will present them from today on.

Dear reader, feel this: a bright sunny day warm and cozy, blue skies, a pleasant sea breeze, a turquoise 80 degree ocean, so calm its mirror would reflect many memories. Waves and birds are the only sound, and in front of you these sea lions: you are in the Galapagos.
