Bartolome and Santiago Island

Early in the morning
We went to the top
At Bartolome Island
We admire Pinnacle Rock!
How many islands did we spot?

Erosion has worked
As tuff was transformed.
Out of its shape
Pinnacle Rock inherit this name

Amazing moon landscape
South-east Erosion has helped
Make us imagine
When lava melts
Group of volcanoes that connect!

After the hike
We had a wonderful time
Penguins were there
and lots of fish everywhere
Furthermore, sea lions love to play!

Puerto Egas at Santiago Island
Had a black sandy beach
Because molten minerals don’t bleach
Nevertheless, sea lions were pleased
All of them were resting and breathing in!

Back in the past
Fur sea lions were killed
But at the grottos is where they live.
What a treat!
Two Eared-seals don’t compete and do co-exist!

Along the Coastal Line
Lava flows were formed with time
Marine iguanas didn’t move their feet
They were piled up and spit
Specialized gland
To get rid of the salt!

Wonderful way
To end up this tour
If is not now
We’ll come back in May!

There’s nothing we can take
There’s only one feeling that makes
These unique islands
My favorite place!
