Bartolome and Santiago Islands
What a joy in my heart! We have spent a remarkable week in this enchanted archipelago, one of the ultimate paradises on Earth. There is a genuine hale of mystery and magic floating in the air in every single place we have been along this week.
Our destination in the morning, the small Bartolome Island shows a delightful combination of breathtaking volcanic formations and the vibrant blue colors of the waters that surround it. The view that can be admired from the top of the island is both astonishing and inspirational. The golden beach where we practiced water activities is, due its beauty, as closest to a painting as you can imagine. In the afternoon, Santiago Island and its black sand beach and the artistic volcanic tuff formations made a perfect setting for a final walk on the Galápagos Islands.
Finally we all came back onboard, reluctantly several guests were joking admitting that they did not want to leave the islands. They felt in love with them. Well, let me tell you that you may leave the islands physically, but the islands will never leave you. All the big array of new feelings and memories our guests are taking with them home will live in their hearts and minds forever.
