Isabela and Fernandina Island

Nature in the Galapagos gives to every time and season some beauties of its own. Today we had an exceptional encounter with a pod of bottlenose dolphins, pilot and false killer whales.

With the cooperation of the captain, we were able to lower a Zodiac and have the opportunity to jump in to water to try to get some good footage of these beautiful marine mammals. In the meantime, our guests were watching bow-riding dolphins and some pilot and false killer whales that came close to our ship.

Watching dolphins and whales underwater was a kind of organized symposium of how to coexist and behave in friendship and harmony, evoking a specific homogenous type of interaction.

We owe a great deal of thanks to all these beautiful creatures for their behavior and I hope that this picture will stimulate all readers of our Web page to come, and, spend an unforgettable time in this incredible archipelago.

Finally I have to say that this is my first time in the water with a pod of false killer whales and this is going to be another experience of my lifetime, in my home islands.
