Boca de la Soledad
It was a mysterious morning. Fog was covering the Boca de la Soledad. Everybody was so excited and enthusiastic, ”We want to watch Gray Whales”. After a few minutes of driving the Zodiac we saw the mysterious shadows in the distance. The Gray Whales (Ballena Gris) were there.
Mother and calves Gray Whales were playing with each other. They were navigating and exploring the shallow waters of Boca de la Soledad. We were able to observe spy hopping and fluking, as well as their amazing pigmentation. It was an exciting day! The combination of the sea, gray whales, dolphins, brown pelican, birds, mangroves, and shells brings such peace to us only to be experienced through nature.
