Corcovado N. Park
Today started with a wet landing and a wonderful morning at San Josecito, a nice location near the borders of Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica. With many options such as short walks, long hikes and horseback riding, we all enjoyed the plants, vegetation in general and some of the animal wildlife that this pristine location can offer. Very interesting sightings of scarlet macaws, coatis, black hawks, howler monkeys were probably the highlight of the morning. We also dedicated the later part of the morning for swimming in these beautiful and transparent waters.
After our delicious lunch on board, we sailed off to Corcovado National Park. Here, some of our guests headed to a waterfall while others decided to take a short hike to observe birds. Both of the options gave spectacular scenery and provided us all with plenty of encounters with the wildlife of the area. The birding was spectacular due the presence of more scarlet macaws, trogons, ant-wrens and wood creepers. The presence of more howler monkeys gave an extra flavor to our bird watching experience. At the end of the day and even during dinner, many of our stories were shared among our guests, who undoubtedly had a great time at Corcovado!
