Little Corn Island, Nicaragua
We arrived at Little Corn Island in the late afternoon, and spent a pleasant couple of hours exploring this laid-back lobster fishing community.
Little Corn Island has a definite Caribbean feel, people relaxing under the coconut palms, dreadlocks adorning their heads, and a surprising number of people speaking English!
Indeed, Mr. Cox shown here had already begun catching lobsters, as pictured, one day before the lobster season begins, cannot imagine too many enforcement officers make their way our here!
We left Little Corn Island at sunset, headed for Costa Rica, the homeland of so many of our crew, and an audible sigh could be heard.
