Lions and eagles and bears, on my! Of course, the lions we saw today were the Stellar sea lions, the eagles, bald and the bear, brown. These are just a few highlights of the incredible experiences we all shared today aboard the National Geographic Sea Lion. We were treated to natural and cultural history presentations from Glacier Bay National Park staff, calving glaciers, multiple wildlife sightings and big, blue beautiful skies the whole day.
…As if this wasn’t enough, we finished the day with walks through the rainforest forest, investigating a humpback whale skeleton, visiting a traditional clan house, and music and more stories from local naturalist and photographer Kim Heacox. Truly a special day!
