If you asked the average person to describe to you their image of paradise, they would probably paint a picture of Half Moon Caye. Situated amongst a smattering of corals sits an island with white sand beaches, coconut palms, and endless bird nests.

Today we spent our entire day kayaking, snorkeling and exploring this remote tropical island. Large nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays, and countless reef fishes visited those who snorkeled. A humbling experience to be sure! Also known to be the largest red-footed booby colony in Belize, the island had a platform in the trees; we were able to spot new mothers with young chicks begging for attention.

At the end of the day, we all sat back and enjoyed a cerveza on the beach, eating some freshly cracked coconuts and sharing our experiences of the island.
