We awoke in Icy Strait, at the mouth of the Inside Passage. We anchored in the protected waters of George Island to explore the surrounding waters by expedition landing craft and hike on the island. We took in the beauty and history of the landscape until midday, when we made our way toward the Inian Islands. There, we cruised in our inflatable boats through the ripping tidal currents, being chased and eyed by curious Steller sea lions. In the evening, we ventured to the mouth of Glacier Bay, where we will explore tomorrow.
