The morning started at Storborja, the destination for our morning hike. The green and lush forest was covered in a dense mat of wood anemones and ferns, such a great start to the day!
Captain Martin and Expedition Leader Peter decided to take us on an adventure for the afternoon, and we reached Vistenfjorden, a long and dwindling fjord at the edge of the national park. We left National Geographic Resolution a few miles from the end of the fjord and continued on Zodiacs, driving to the end and up a river towards a spectacular lake overlooking the snow-capped mountains and lush forests. It was spectacular to say the least.
