We visited the heart of the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve today and to make it as far as possible and explore as much as was feasible of this wild area, we started very early. Traveling the Pacaya we encountered thousands of egrets and herons taking off near us as we glided along in our skiffs, an incredible display. At our destination we had the chance to swim with pink dolphins showing nearby. In the afternoon we did an exploratory hike near El Dorado, now on our way down the Ucayali River for the last leg of out trip.
