After a surprise visit by the wondrous Northern Lights, we began our final day viewing bears in the intertidal zone of Pavlof Harbor. While cruising south through Chatham Strait, we happened upon a large pod of humpback whales bubble-net feeding. Then, we finished off an already amazing day by hiking through a perfect example of temperate rainforest to Lake Eva.  We couldn’t have asked for a better day to conclude our Wild Alaska Escape!
