Today we woke up anchored in the calm waters off of the small town of Puerto Adolfo López Mateos and prepared for a full day of cruising the surrounding waters for gray whales, the highlights of our day. In the morning, groups got time to explore ashore on the sand dunes as well, even spotting some coyotes.

Today was an amazing return to Bahía Magdalena after almost two years away. We were glad to return to Baja California to see the grey whales. We even met the first calf of the year. I have to say, it felt incredible to be among the grey whales again.
