On our last day in the Galapagos Islands, we woke up to a beautiful landscape of eroded tuff cones. We visited Pitt Point, a historic landing spot for the famous naturalist, Charles Darwin. We anchored in the same cove where the HMS Beagle once did and started our day with an early morning hike and Zodiac exploration. Surrounded by dry vegetation, we beheld a population of young finches, mockingbirds, and male frigatebirds.

At the end of the day, we visited another site, Cerro Brujo. We enjoyed the wonderful scenery of a white coralline beach, where endemic wildlife still thrives. We concluded the trip with a circumnavigation around Kicker Rock, a symbol of history and prosperity.
