Today we dropped anchor at Academy Bay in Santa Cruz Island, the economical hub of the Archipelago and home to most of its inhabitants. Here we visited the famous Breeding Center for Giant Tortoises at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Also our guests had an overview of the lifestyle in the Galapagos around the town of Puerto Ayora and a traditional coffee plantation called El Trapiche.
