We woke up with the sunrise, anchored at Academy Bay in Puerto Ayora. We had our first excursion of the day to the Charles Darwin Research Station and Galapagos National Park area, where we visited the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center and learned so much about the protection efforts for such important species of these islands.
Visiting the Trapiche Ecological farm was very entertaining; Don Adriano is such an inspiration for organic farming. To end this great day we explored the El Chato Tortoise Farm where we encountered several giant tortoises and took great pictures.
