Today we moved back to the central islands of the archipelago and visited Santiago Island. We explored the coastline of Puerto Egas and enjoyed wonderful opportunities to relax while observing wildlife in between tide pools. Our guests saw Galapagos fur seals, the other species of sea lions, as well as marine iguanas, land iguanas, and the amazing geology of this area. After a hike, our guests continued exploring Santiago underneath the water’s surface and also kayaked. It was definitely another unforgettable day exploring the islands on board National Geographic Delfina.
