We crossed the equator during our expedition in the Galápagos Islands aboard National Geographic Endeavour II and have moved out of the western region to the central part of this enchanted archipelago. Today we are visiting three different places on Santiago Island.

The day started with a stunning beach walk on Espumilla Beach observing sea lions hunting and boobies plunging. National Geographic Endeavour II moved to Buccaneer Cove where we explored the shores in kayaks and Zodiacs and practiced snorkeling while watching sharks and many reef fish.

Later in the day the ship moved locations to a place called Puerto Egas where we enjoyed a long walk along the shore finding grottos that fur sea lions use as a resting place. Also, guests explored the beach and took part in a stretching class. We had an amazing sunset to finish our great day.
