Our first full day in Greenland was filled with sunny weather and exciting, new experiences.

We visited Sisimiut, a town just north of the Arctic Circle and Greenland’s second largest municipality. We had the opportunity to visit several areas and enjoyed activities including a town walk, a nature hike to Tele Island, and a chance to visit an area that houses hundreds of Greenland sled dogs. After we all returned to the ship, a local, traditional kayaker came to the ship to demonstrate a variety of unique skills. It was such a great first day on our expedition through the Northwest Passage.
