In the first days of the Arctic season, field staff can take advantage of remarkable sunrises and sunsets that last for hours and project ever-changing colors onto the ice. Alaskan skies, Galápagos wildlife, and a beautiful puffin in Scotland were among the other outstanding photos from the field this week.
