Itinerary
Day 1 - Buenos Aires, Argentina
Arrive in Buenos Aires by 11:00 a.m. and transfer to the Casa Lucia or Hotel Emperador (or similar)* in the elegant Retiro neighborhood.
This afternoon, join your local guide for a curated tour of Buenos Aires’ highlights. Visit Plaza de Mayo, the birthplace of the Argentinian Revolution (May Revolution) of 1810, and the Casa Rosada, the seat of the Argentine national government. Then, roam the vast Recoleta Cemetery—with memorials for some of Argentina’s most notable figures, including Eva Perón—and explore the El Zanjon de Granados, a museum constructed on the restored labyrinths of the city’s first settlement dating to the 1500s. This evening, gather with fellow travelers for a welcome reception at the hotel.
