Alexandrea Tice
Alexandrea Tice is a naturalist with a background in marine biology and more than two decades of experience exploring and interpreting the world’s oceans. Her career has taken her to some of the planet’s most remote and ecologically significant regions, where she combines field knowledge with a focus on science-based education.
Her work spans polar, temperate and tropical environments, with an emphasis on the interconnectedness of wildlife, ocean systems, climate and human history. Alexandrea has a particular interest in marine mammals and seabirds, and she enjoys helping guests observe patterns in behavior, adaptation and ecology that reveal how species thrive in extreme conditions.
Alexandrea’s guiding approach is rooted in curiosity, careful observation and open dialogue. Whether discussing whale behavior, seabird migration or changing polar ecosystems, she emphasizes evidence-based interpretation and encourages guests to engage with the natural world through inquiry and shared discovery.
Through her work, Alexandrea supports meaningful exploration and fosters thoughtful awareness of ocean conservation and stewardship that extends beyond the voyage.
