Annalise Pasztor

Annalise Pasztor was raised in San Antonio, Texas, where she spent much of her childhood exploring the Texas Hill Country with a camera, developing an early interest in observing and documenting the natural world. She later studied film production and anthropology at the University of Southern California, focusing on storytelling that examines how people shape, and are shaped by, their environments.

Annalise’s film and photography work has been published by The New York Times, The Atlantic, Texas Monthly, Science Magazine and the Austin Chronicle, and has been screened at more than 15 international film festivals. Her work blends visual storytelling with cultural and environmental context across a range of settings.

In addition to her creative work, Annalise is an EMT, licensed drone pilot and SCUBA diver, supporting projects in remote, aerial and underwater environments. These skills allow her to contribute to expedition operations and field-based storytelling across diverse landscapes.

When not working onboard, Annalise is based in the central mountains of Mexico, where she divides her time between hiking, silversmithing and exploring the outdoors alongside her dog, Gary.
