Bent Kielsen

Born and raised in Qaqortoq, South Greenland, Bent grew up surrounded by fjords, mountains, and the rich traditions of Greenlandic culture.

 

He holds a degree in Service and Hospitality Management with a specialization in tourism. He is also a certified Arctic Guide. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the University of Greenland, focusing on sustainable economic development in Arctic communities.

Bent's professional experience bridges cultural interpretation, and community engagement. He is passionate about creating meaningful exchanges between visitors and local people, helping guests gain a deeper understanding of Greenland's living culture, history, and modern identity.

When not guiding or studying, he enjoys hiking in the Greenlandic wilderness and exploring the deep connection between people and nature in the Arctic. As part of the Lindblad Expeditions team, Bent looks forward to sharing the warmth, stories, and perspectives of Greenland with guests from around the world.
