Christian Lund is an Indigenous man, born and raised in Qaqortoq, Greenland. He completed elementary school in his hometown, followed by upper secondary school (GUX).
After graduating from upper secondary school, he began the education Adventure Guide in Kangerlussuaq and Qaqortoq. During the education, he learned guiding techniques and wilderness navigation, completed a Wilderness First Responder course and a maritime course (12 pax), and studied topics such as fauna, flora, geology, and cultural landscapes. He completed this education at the end of 2023.
In 2024, he worked as a sailor in local transport using a Targa boat, as a substitute teacher at the elementary school in Qaqortoq, and during the summer season, as a guide (iceberg tours, city walks, camping), for a local company (Local Greenland) until the autumn.
In 2025, he began the Arctic Guide program, which focuses more on city guiding and history, and after finishing the education, worked as a guide for the same company. He values learning, self-care, camping, spending time with close relatives, and exploring nature. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, playing guitar, and hiking or trekking outdoors.
