Fiona Wardle

Fiona comes from a small village in the southeast of England. She is a naturalist and wildlife photographer who has had a burning curiosity and care for the natural world for as long as she can remember. These feelings were only strengthened by key figures in her childhood; Attenborough, Goodall and Fossey.

Wanting nothing more in life than to follow in her idol's footsteps, she created a road map that led her to university to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Marine and Natural History Photography. She later moved to New Zealand dedicating almost a decade to working on research, conservation, and guiding work, always with the camera in hand.

She has photographed and filmed behaviour never documented before, won multiple awards, and exhibited her work globally. Fiona has travelled and taught wildlife photography across the world from Papua New Guinea, Sub Antarctica, Tonga, Japan, Canada, and Europe. She has a strong desire to share her passion with others and inspire a new generation of leading conservationists and science communicators in this ever-changing world.
