Kathy Hauf
Kathy's interest in massage began at an early age. At four years old, she asked her mother how to spell "massage," made a sign that read "Massage—a penny a minute," and waited for her father to come home from work. Her first session lasted five minutes, earned her a nickel, and marked the beginning of a lifelong interest in helping others feel their best.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, Kathy has developed a broad and versatile approach to bodywork. Her work draws from a variety of modalities, including Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, shiatsu, stretching techniques, reflexology, Thai massage and polarity therapy. Rather than relying on a single method, she tailors each session to the individual's goals, preferences and physical needs.
Committed to continuing education, Kathy regularly expands her knowledge and skills through advanced training. She is currently pursuing additional certification in manual lymphatic drainage, further broadening the range of techniques she can offer.
Beyond massage therapy, Kathy has extensive experience teaching movement-based wellness programs. She has led yoga classes, Senior Movement Plus classes and anatomical stretching programs, helping participants improve mobility, balance and overall well-being.
When she is not working with clients, Kathy enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Her personal goal is to set foot on every continent, combining her interest in wellness, lifelong learning and cultural exploration wherever her journeys take her.
