Leah Santini
Leah Santini is a Naturalist and wilderness guide with more than 22 years of professional experience leading expeditions across diverse and remote environments. She holds a B.A. in Parks and Recreation Management and has guided adventures throughout the U.S., from Alaska to the Caribbean, including whitewater rafting, kayaking, glacier trekking, hiking, rock climbing and scuba diving.
Committed to safety and preparedness in the field, Leah earned certification as a wilderness EMT and is also a certified firefighter. She previously served as a search and rescue team member in Alaska, strengthening her ability to lead confidently in challenging backcountry settings.
A scuba diver for more than 24 years, Leah has logged hundreds of dives in temperate and tropical waters worldwide. She has a particular interest in marine life identification and the ecological and medicinal significance of both terrestrial and marine species.
When not at sea, Leah is based in Washington State, where she works as an EMT, leads backcountry programs and teaches CPR and Wilderness First Aid. Her career reflects a deep commitment to exploration, safety and meaningful engagement with the natural world.
