Tomas Strelecek

Tomas Strelecek is a multilingual certified tour guide with a professional focus on history, geopolitics and cultural interpretation. Born in 1974 in the former Czechoslovakia, he studied economics at Prague University before pursuing a career centered on travel and cross-cultural engagement.

After completing his studies, Tomas began accompanying tour groups throughout Europe, developing experience as a guide and expanding his foreign language skills. He later brought this expertise to work aboard cruise ships, organizing shore excursions for guests in regions including the Baltic, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Hawai‘i, South America and Alaska.

Since 2014, Tomas has lived and worked in Portugal as a certified tour guide, sharing the country’s history, landscapes and cultural traditions with visitors. His experience on expedition ships has further broadened his role, allowing him to support guest learning through presentations, local context and on-site interpretation.

Based near Lisbon, Tomas spends time exploring the hills of Sintra and the Atlantic coast with his family, maintaining a close connection to the landscapes and communities he helps introduce to travelers.
