Tomas Strelecek

Tomas Strelecek, tour guide, nature and history enthusiast:

Tomas Strelecek was born in 1974 in the former Czechoslovakia. He studied economics at Prague University but wanted to travel and get to know foreign cultures. After graduating from the university, he decided to accompany tourist groups in Europe as a tour guide and learned several foreign languages.

Later, he sought further challenges on board cruise ships and he has organized shore excursions for cruise guests in the Baltic, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Hawaii, South America and Alaska.

Since 2014 he lives and works as a certified tour guide in Portugal. He enjoys to show this beautiful country to visitors and share with them its rich culture and history.

His passion for travel brought him after several years on board expedition ships. He is interested in history, geopolitics, nature and local culture.

Tomas usually seeks relaxation in the green hills of Sintra and on the Atlantic coast near Lisbon, where he lives with his family.
