Our last full day of this week’s expedition was spent on the northern island of Genovesa. Today was yet another spectacular and completely different day in these enchanted islands of the Galapagos! Genovesa is home to half a million seabirds and on both the morning and afternoon walks we enjoyed watching the behavior of boobies, gulls and frigates. We searched for land birds too, and found finches, mocking birds and to our delight, a couple short eared owls.
