Amazon Natural Park

Dec 26, 2017 - Delfin II

Early risers Delfin II were greeted by a roadside hawk just off the starboard bow. But, really on this ship we’re all early risers. Another 5:30 AM optional wake-up call had us fed and ready to start loading the skiffs by 7:00 AM. Today we visited the Amazon Natural Park and Carola and local Shaman. After lunch, we learned about and ate some local fruits of the Amazon, did some Kayaking and another skiff ride seeking wildlife before dinner. Following dinner, we tested our night eyes seeking nocturnal wildlife, of course, with the assistance of our local guides and some very powerful flashlights!
