Varzea Forest

Dec 28, 2017 - Delfin II

Today was full of adventure and education. We had the opportunity to wander through the incredible Varzea forest of the Amazon observing its natural beauty, including tall trees and heliconia flowers. We also took skiff tours and located some owl monkeys, the only nocturnal monkey of the new world. Guests were then given the opportunity to learn some of the secrets of the meals we were served with a cooking lesson as well as a comprehensive lesson on “towel origami”. All in all, another great day on the Delfin II.
