The people-to-people aspect of our travels in Cuba was the focus of our day spent in Trinidad.  A walking tour around the historic center provided us with a more in-depth history of Cuba, as well as an opportunity to visit with several local people.  An afternoon visit to a once thriving sugar cane plantation provided a glimpse into what has been such an important part of Cuba’s economy and history.
