Cienfuegos is one of Cuba's most picturesque and lovingly cared for cities. French immigrants from Bordeaux and Louisiana began settling here in 1819, and the city features consistently striking colonial-era architecture with long pedestrian promenades and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We spent our day and night in Cienfuegos, giving us time to soak in the charm of Cuba's "Pearl of the South".
