Today was “off-the-beaten path” Havana.  While some enjoyed a private tour of the Museum of Fine Arts, followed by a visit with members of the independent press in Cuba, I joined others for a visit to an organic farm and an authentic tour of the socialist housing project – Alamar.  We reconvened for a “light lunch” in Central Havana, followed by a riveting performance of African-Spanish dance by Habana Compas.  We bid farewell to Havana on the rooftop of Parque Central with a private concert by music legends El Septeto Nacional.
