On the inhabited area of Santa Cruz island, there are many different excursion options for spending a very pleasant cultural day. The southern side of the island hosts Puerto Ayora town, the biggest settlement in the archipelago, home of creative ventures and lifestyles. As the economical capital, there are plenty of different options for commerce on the island. Many settlers have undertaken several different occupational fields, one being tourism itself, a very rich one. Here, tourism entrepreneurs offer food, artisan souvenirs, giant tortoises’ excursions on private farmlands, and lava tube exploration opportunities.
