Magdalena Lagoon & Sand Dollar Beach

Mar 02, 2018 - National Geographic Sea Bird

Sunny and beautiful day in the Magdalena Lagoon!

Guest and naturalists repeated whale watching with the amazing gray whales.

Images say more than a thousand words! Whales everywhere, doing their things; curious; friendly; just living and interacting with the hands extended towards them; touches; weeps; screams of joy and emotion. All at once for 3 hours…

In the afternoon, our incredible exploration finished with relaxing walks on the moon-looking sand dunes and the magnificent San Dollar Beach at Santa Maria Bay of Magdalena Island.
