Today, without doubt, guests can tell the U.S. Department of Treasury that they are getting a full people-to-people experience. No sunbathing at the beach for us! We met with independent journalists from OnCuba Magazine, farmers from the socialist neighborhood of Alamar, an art historian at the Fine Arts Museum, market vendors, and the professional dancers of Habana Compás.We also got an intimate behind-the-scenes tour of the Hotel Nacional, and a breathtaking view from the normally off-limits rooftop. It was a very thought-provoking last full day in Havana.
