Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Apr 28, 2018 - National Geographic Orion

Our expedition through the Society Islands and the atolls of the Tuamotu Archipelago began with a visit to the iconic island of Bora Bora. As will be our habit for the coming week, we had opportunities to explore the nature and culture of the island and to immerse ourselves in the crystal blue water of the lagoon and enter the beautiful world of the corals and fish.  The afternoon finished with cocktails on the beach, followed by a welcome from our Captain.

All of today’s images were taken with iPhones.
