Lake Eva and Cruising

Jun 23, 2018 - National Geographic Quest

Today was our last full day here in SE Alaska, and what a beautiful day it was. Early risers enjoyed a nice morning cruise as we headed towards our morning destination, Lake Eva, where we enjoyed a variety of activities including hikes, kayaking, and standup padleboarding. After lunch, many of the guests and crew participated in a long Lindblad tradition of polar plunging – jumping into the frigid cold waters of SE Alaska. After drying off and warming up, we continued on towards Sitka in search of wildlife along the way.
