Our expedition through the fabled isles of French Polynesia began with a visit to one of the most famous of all: Bora Bora. In the morning, we toured the spectacular main island in 4x4’s and the colorful open-air buses known as “Le Truck.”  Views of the broad aquamarine waters of the lagoon whetted our appetite for the afternoon and our first chance to snorkel and swim from a delightful private island on the reef.
