After a few weeks of seemingly near-tropical weather, today we caught a glimpse of typical Southeast Alaskan weather, with misty fjords and cumulus clouds. This morning, National Geographic Sea Bird cruised through Chatham Strait and past Icy Strait, the channel through which all the tidal water enters and exits, circulating the waters of the Inside Passage.
