Sombrero chino is very young and small volcanic cone, home to several colonies of sea lions and sea birds. Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island was formed by a very recent volcanic eruption in 1897 and still looks like it was formed yesterday, with its glossy ropy lava flows.
Socrates was raised on Santa Cruz Island located in the heart of Galapagos Archipelago. After a childhood filled with swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing and volunteering in conservation projects, he grew very passionate about the outdoors and the natural world.
