Palermo & Sicily

May 24, 2019 - Sea Cloud

We awoke this morning to another exciting day, and one with a full schedule. Sea Cloud set sail with very low wind, which gave us the opportunity to photograph her from the water in her full magnificence. It is the most beautiful ship on Earth; of that there is no doubt. Then we were off to Palermo, the capital of Sicily, which awaited us avid explorers.

We spent a full afternoon there between the byzantine chapel, an Aristocrat palace and the capuchin catacomb. In between, a gorgeous taste of the famous Sicilian pastries. Quite a memorable day.
