Grindall Island

Jun 22, 2019 - National Geographic Sea Bird

We found killer whales twice today! The best of days begin and end with killer whales.

Celebrating our discovery of these dichromatic dolphins, the hotel department served celebratory cocktails before breakfast, and then we ate at 10:30. Afterward, we went for bushwhack hikes and Zodiac rides in tempestuous waters. It was wild. In the evening, stewards talked about their life onboard during recap, and then the staff served everyone dinner and did the dishes. This might be the Twilight Zone, or it’s just an expedition, served with killer whales.
