Ucayali River and Rio Dorado

Nov 12, 2019 - Delfin II

Today Delfin II takes us even farther upstream the Ucayali River. We explored the riverbanks searching for wildlife before breakfast. After breakfast we are ready to hike in the flooded forest. This area is only accessible this time of the year; due to the low water season there is firm land to walk on.

In the afternoon we deployed the skiffs a little later than usual, because it was time to look for nocturnal life near the riverbanks, and we found some interesting lifeforms!
