Dec 19, 2019 - National Geographic Sea Lion

This morning National Geographic Sea Lion anchored in front of Playa Zapotal, a remote and little visited beach of the pacific northwest of Costa Rica. Our guests had the choice to go on a nature walk along an access road – where birding is superb and the view of countryside terrific – or snorkeling around the rocky formations of Brumel Islands in company of our undersea specialist. After a delicious lunch on board, we headed to Tamarindo Bay where some travelers participated on a mangrove boat tour and some others preferred to stay on the beach and explore the town on their own.
