Jan 25, 2020 - Delfin II
This morning we explored the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve for the last time. Early, right after breakfast, we departed on our skiff to Nauta Creek, an area known for pink and grey river dolphins and, of course, a large amount of birds. In the afternoon we visited Amazonas Community and were greeted by the local leaders. Our guests learned about the various projects and also had the chance to do some shopping at their craft market.
Socrates was raised on Santa Cruz Island located in the heart of Galapagos Archipelago. After a childhood filled with swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing and volunteering in conservation projects, he grew very passionate about the outdoors and the natural world.
