San Cristobal, Punta Pitt & Cerro Brujo

Jan 24, 2020 - National Geographic Endeavour II

Today National Geographic Endeavour II visited the island of San Cristobal, home to the political capital of the archipelago. In the morning, we hiked an old tuff cone eroded by water, where there is a small colony of red-footed boobies. Later in the afternoon, we moved to Cerro Brujo with its spectacular beach full of sea lions to have a swim and a stroll along the white sand. To end the day, our ship circumnavigated an outer islet called Kicker Rock to watch the sunset and celebrate another successful cruise.
